About Me
Hi, I’m Katie — a mum to a sparkly 4 year-old, a wife and a woman who swapped 23 years in corporate IT for a set of dumbbells and a dream.
Like so many women, I spent years putting everyone and everything else first — work deadlines, family life and the endless to-do list. When I was made redundant, it felt like a sign to finally listen to that quiet voice that kept saying, “This isn’t it.”
I leaned into what made me feel alive — movement, lifting and proper nourishment — and Bloom Fitness Surrey was born.
I’m still on my own health journey too. Living with Hashimoto’s has taught me to slow down, listen to my body and appreciate what strength really means — not just in the gym, but in life.
I know how it feels to be exhausted, to lose confidence and to wonder where the old “you” went. That’s why I created Bloom Fitness Surrey — a welcoming space (both in-person in Ashford, Surrey and online) where busy mums can rebuild energy, strength and self-belief without pressure or perfection.
I’m not here to sell fads, fear, or quick fixes. What you’ll get from me is honest, evidence-based guidance that fits into real life — coffee spills, school runs, chaos and all.
Because this isn’t about having it all together. It’s about rebuilding, reviving and feeling powerful in your own skin.
